Biography

Tian Xiaochen began his medical career in 1992. He received advanced training in general surgery at the Clinical Hospital of the Chinese PLA General Hospital and Beijing Friendship Hospital, and was promoted to associate chief physician in 2003. He is a member of the Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery Beijing Branch of the Chinese Medical Association. He has worked successively in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the PLA Rocket Force General Hospital, the Medical Aesthetic Center of Beijing Yijian Sanye Hospital, Beijing United Lige Hospital, and Shenzhen Bo'ai Hospital. He has been engaged in clinical work in plastic and aesthetic surgery and burn reconstruction for more than 25 years, with extensive clinical experience and superb clinical skills. He is a renowned plastic and aesthetic surgeon and a leader in the discipline of plastic surgery. In addition to specializing in facial feature plastic surgery such as eye and nose procedures, breast plastic surgery, cleft lip and palate repair, and various congenital and acquired deformity correction surgeries, he has conducted in-depth research on liposuction techniques. He is an official member of the renowned Fine Fat Grafting and Liposuction Research Association and has completed more than 3,000 procedures of various types.

Tian Xiaochen has achieved outstanding scientific research results. The subcutaneous tissue flap technique he developed for repairing nasal and lip deformities after cleft lip surgery became a signature technique of the Second Artillery General Hospital. He has published more than 20 papers in domestic and international journals such as the Chinese Journal of Plastic Surgery, Chinese Journal of Burns, and Chinese Journal of Injury Repair and Wound Healing. As an author, he translated the breast plastic surgery chapters of McCarthy's Plastic Surgery. He has received six Third-Class Awards for Military Medical Achievements and one Clinical Science and Technology Progress Award.
